UNV 101: Make a smooth transition to college
UNV 101 is an academic, three-credit hour course that counts toward graduation requirements designed to help students succeed at NKU.
Founded in 1986, UNV 101 has helped thousands of new students make the right connections.
Plus, UNV 101 students experience campus life by attending academic, social and service events and meeting with faculty and staff from a variety of disciplines.

Attention veterans and current military members!
UNV 101V is a new, dedicated section of UNV 101 designed especially for veterans, family members, friends, & supporters. This course was created to help all veterans make a positive transition from the military to college life, from academics and work to family and social settings.
UNV 101V is taught but Tracy Hart, full-time lecturer in First-Year Programs who has taught at NKU for 12 years, including 6 years of teaching University 101, and has mentored numerous Veteran students.
